サーフボードのお手入れ Maintenance of surfing board

海から上がって、ボードを皆さんどうしていますか。そのままケースに収納して、次回海に行くまで、そのままにしていませんか。これはあまりお勧めできません。ボードは海から上がった時や、帰宅した時に、必ず真水で塩と砂、汚れをよく落しましょう。塩分は、ボードの表面を覆う樹脂を黄色く変色させ、劣化の原因になります。なにかでこすったりする必要はなく、水をまんべんなくかけながら、手で優しくなでる様にすれば充分です。ただし、決してお湯をかけないようにして下さい。熱は、ボードのガラスクロスの剥離を招いてしまいますし、ワックスも軟らかくなってしまい、せっかく作ったつぶつぶがつぶれてしまうことにもなります。
家で洗う時は、浴室に板がぶつからないように、十分注意して洗って下さい。また、フィンの取り外しができるボードの場合は、砂がたまったり、特に金属部分は塩分でさびやすいので、きちんと外して洗いましょう。
洗い終えたら、タオルで水分を拭き取ればお手入れ完了です。ボードは高価なものですので、しっかりお手入れして、サーフィンを楽しみましょう。

Heat is caused flaking off of the glass crossing of the board, and comes also for wax to become soft, and to collapse with great pains making [tatsubutsubu].
Please wash very noting that the board doesn't knock against the bathroom when washing at home. Sand collects, and moreover, because the metallic portion rusts especially easily by salinity, let's remove neatly and wash for the board that can detach the fin.
