波の名称ご紹介パート２ Introduction of name of wave part 2

今回は前回に引き続き波の名称のご紹介です。一つの波にもそれぞれの箇所によって名称があります。この名称をマスターすれば、サーフィンの本を読んでいる時の理解度が違うし、実際に波乗りしている時にも、今この箇所にいるんだな！と実感できると思います。それではご紹介します。

【ショルダー】
波の形を三角だとすると分かりやすいと思いますが、三角の頂点から白い波になります。その脇のこれから巻き始める前の箇所をショルダーと言います。ショルダーの張った波だとサーフィンもしやすいです。
【トップ】
三角の頂点のすぐ横のこれから白い波になる箇所をトップと言います。トップでターンするとパワーがある箇所ですので、スピードがアップします。
【ボトム】
一つの波の一番下の平らの箇所をボトムと言います。ボトムでのターンは波乗りの基本的な技になります。
【リップ】
三角の頂点の白い波になり始める箇所をリップと言います。リップは一番パワーがある箇所です。
【スープ】
三角の頂点から崩れる白い波をスープと言います。初心者の方は、まずスープで練習して波を掴むコツを覚えるのも良いと思います。
【フェイス】
波のトップからボトムまでの波の斜面をフェイスと呼びます。サーフィンで滑るメインの部分です。ここは加速する場所でもあります。

【Shoulder】

The part of flat of nether is called bottom about one wave. The turn at bottom becomes a basic technique to surf.
【Lip】
The part where the triangular top begins to become a white wave is called a lip. The lip is a part that has power most.
【Soup】
A white wave that collapses from the triangular top is called soup. I think that it is also good that the beginner remembers the knack of the practice first of all with soup and gripping the wave.
【Face】
The slope of the wave from the top of the wave to bottom is called a face. It is a part of the main that slips by surfing. Here is an accelerating place.
