今回は今週の水曜日に行って来ました片貝漁港の特徴です。

～特徴～
漁港の堤防により、北東風をかわすポイントの1つ。東京からのアクセスが良い上、コンスタントに波があるので非常に混雑し、ショ－トボ－ド、ロンクボ－ド、ボディボ－ド共に多く集まる。北～西寄りのウネリを幅広く拾い、左右堤防に囲まれているので風の影響は受けにくい。

～波の質～
基本的には力がなくトロ厚めのイ－ジ－な波が多いが、最近では右側の堤防が伸びたせいかやや地形が深くなりつつあり、サイズが上がるとダンパ－が目立つことが多くなってきた。ただし、ウネリの向きやサイズや地形により、掘れた波や形良い波などの様々なブレイクを見せる。また、南寄りのウネリだとレフト、北寄りのウネリだとライトの波が決まりやすい。

～危険な場所～
堤防周辺。また、正面でも台風の時などは特に流れが強く入るので、非常に危険。ビギナ－サ－ファ－が流される事故が多いので、要注意。また、1年を通して人が多いので、トラブルや事故も発生しやすい。

～注意事項～
ショ－トボ－ド、ロンクボ－ド、ボディボ－ド共に波乗りを楽しめるよう、ロングは左側にかけて遊ぶようにエリア分けがされている。それは、地元のサ－フショップやサ－ファ－、その他様々な関係者により、ポイントの安全と秩序を保つために決められている。片貝漁港のように、ロングとショ－トが別れている場所は日本全国を見ても少ない。このル－ルがなければ、波の取り合い等によるトラブルが多発するので、お互いに譲り合う気持ちでこのル－ルを守り、サ－フィンを楽しもう！　その他、駐車場におけるル－ルとマナ－も守ろう！　また、車上荒らしにも注意。
