カレント CURRENT

本日はカレントについてご紹介致します。
なぜ今頃、カレントなのか？と思われるかもしれませんが、カレントを知っていないと、大変な事故になりかねませんので、今回、投稿させて頂きました。
斜面を昇って岸に打ち寄せた波はブレイクし、また斜面を下って沖へと戻っていき、その海水が沖へと戻っていく流れのことをリップカレントと呼びます。
リップカレントは、真っ直ぐ戻らずにいったん横に流れて波が割れていないところ、つまり水深の深いところを通って沖へと戻る仕組みです。
もしもカレントにはまってしまった際の逃げ方ですが、決してまっすぐに戻ろうとしてはいけません。そんな時は、岸と平行にパドルを一生懸命漕ぎましょう。そうすれば、カレントから逃れられることが多いのです。ただし、波が割れているところは岸に向かって流れがあるので、最悪波に巻かれながらしてでも戻るほうが、流されて沖に出てしまい、レスキュー隊を呼ぶよりはマシだと思います。
カレントの見つけ方としましては、ビーチ全体を見渡して、波が割れていないところを探します。さらに、海面がさざ波だっているところや、堤防沿いも充分に気をつけて頂きたいです。

As how to find KARENTO, the whole beach is overlooked and the place where the wave has not broken is looked for. Furthermore, the place for which even ripples require a sea surface, and along a bank take great care.
