ファンボード Fan Board

今回はファンボードをご紹介します。
ボードの長さが６’１０”～７’０”ぐらいが人気があり、初心者や体力の衰えたショートボーダーでロングはダサイからイヤと言う人が使用しているタイプになります。
パドルがショートに比べると楽な為、テイクオフが早く、敏感な動きは期待出来ませんが、ショートボードの動きも少し出来るように考案されたボードです。
波のサイズはヒザ～頭ぐらいまでがベストだといわれており、ファンボードはショートの延長線のようなものなので、ライディングは基本的にはショートボードと同じで、常に加速させる能力が必要とされます。
浮力がありドルフィンが可能な為、沖に出るにはショートより断然有利です。
しかし、動きはあまり期待しないで下さいね。ファンボードは動きを想定したボードではなく、サーフィンを楽しむ為のサーフボードなのです。

When a paddle compares it with shortstop, because it is comfortable, takeoff is early and cannot expect is sensitive, moving, but it is the board which was devised so that it is possible for moving a little of shortstop board.
It is said that a knee - head is the best as for the size of a wave, and because a fan board is the thing which seems to be an extension line of shortstop, riding is the same as shortstop board basically, and ability to let you always accelerate it is needed.
Because there is buoyancy, and a porpoise is possible, I am absolutely from shortstop profitable to be given to Oki.
However, please do not expect movement very much. A fan board is a surfboard to enjoy surfing not the board which assumed movement.
