パグパフォーマー

今回はパグパフォーマーのご紹介です。初心者が波に慣れるのには一番簡単なボードだといわれています。

まずはボードのサイズ。６’１０”～７’０”が人気があります。
メーカーによって呼び名は変わりますが、ファンボードのノーズが丸いタイプで初心者には最適で、お金にゆとりのあるショートボーダーは一年目はこれで練習して海に慣れて頂ければと思います。
そして、二年目からは少し長めのショートボードで練習するのが最短の上達方法だと思います。
それを乗りこなせるようになれば、次は本格的なショートボードの練習です。
パグパフォーマーは、ノーズ幅があるので、パドルの安定感があり、ショートよりも断然楽です。
サーフボードはノーズ幅が広ければパドルが楽でセンター幅が広ければ安定感があり、テール幅が広ければ、失速しにくいボードになります。ただし、難点も…ドルフィンに関しては、技術を要するといわれております。

波のサイズはムネ～カタまでなら楽しく波乗りが出来ると思います。

サーフィン未経験者でロングを初められる人はロングの入門用として使用してみてはいかがでしょうか？
ロングは海の中では最強の凶器となります。上級者なら別ですが初心者は混んでいる海では大変危険な凶器です。いきなりロングは自分にも他人にもケガをさす可能性が大です。ただし、空いているポイントでロングを初めるのであれば、いきなりロングでもＯＫです。

お金にゆとりのある人は、とりあえず海に慣れるまでの道具として使用して頂ければいいのではないでしょうか。
