カービングターン ＣｕｒｖｉｎｇＴｕｒｎ

波のフェイスを走っていくと、どうしてもどこかで必ずショルダーがなくなってしまいます。すると波はサーファーを押し出す力を失い、ライディングを続けるのが難しくなってしまいます。そんなときに必要なテクニックがカービングターンです。このテクニックは大きなスケールのターンをパワフルに決めるために、玄人好みの技と言われております。以前取り上げましたカットバックと呼ばれるテクニックでよく知られてるのですが、カットバックとはいくつかのカービングターンを連結したコンビネーション技の総称です。
カービングターンによるアマチュアとプロの違いは、大きさの違いだといわれております。緩やかにトップへ向かいショルダーへアクセスすれば、フェイスを広く使うターンが可能ですので、皆さんも是非チャレンジしてみてください！！
