彼らは誰に強要されて挑戦している訳ではなく、ただそこに、大きな波があるから挑戦するのだろう。このビッグウェイブこそが、ポリネシアで発祥したサーフィンというものをここまでの存在にしてきたことは紛れもない事実です。つまり、ビッグウェイブによりサーフィンはボードやテクニックが進化したのです。
俺は小さい波でのんびりサーフィンができればよいなんて言わずに、勇気を振り絞り、大きい波に果敢に挑戦するのはいかがでしょうか？
