オフザリップ Ｏｆｆ Ｔｈｅ Ｒｉｐ

本日はオフザリップのご紹介です。このテクニックはボトムターンからトップへと縦にグイッと上がり、リップにボードを当て込み、その勢いを借りてボードをボトム側へと急激に返すテクニックです。
見た目的にも派手な技なので、うまいサーファーなら一本の波に必ずこの技を入れるほど、サーフィンでは花形テクニックと言われております。コンテストでもこの技の出来次第で点数に大きく関わってくるんです。花形の技なので、目立ちますからね！
オフザリップで意識する点としては、波のどこにボードを当て込むかが重要になります。正しく当て込む位置は、カールのすぐ脇のリップがメラメラとめくりあがってきているところです。ここから少しでも外れてしまうと、失敗するか、極端に成功が難しくなると言われていますので、ピンポイントで当て込むことが重要になります。これができれば、ビーチでの視線はあなたに集中するかも…
